Princeton Athens Center for Research and Hellenic Studies
Renovation of a two-story building from 1935 and its conversion into a support space for Princeton University activities. The building had been renovated before, and its original character had been altered. The renovation aimed to maximize the use of available spaces by adding the necessary equipment while respecting the character of both the existing building and the university it hosts. Interventions in the existing spaces were minimal, except for the entrance, the uncovered space on the ground floor, and the attic. The ground floor will accommodate students, the upper floor professors, and a lecture and event hall is planned for the floor.
